In brief

We use the information you provide to respond to your enquiry and manage any resulting business relationship. We do not sell personal information and do not use contact-form submissions for unrelated marketing.

1. Who we are

Salahuddin Softtech Solutions (“SSS”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is a technology company based in the Kingdom of Bahrain. For personal information collected through this website, SSS determines why and how that information is processed and acts as the data controller.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

When you use our contact form, we may collect:

  • your full name;
  • your email address;
  • your phone number;
  • your company name;
  • the service or type of enquiry you select; and
  • the contents of your message and any information you choose to include.

Information collected when you visit

Our website and hosting infrastructure may automatically process limited technical information needed to deliver and secure the website. This may include your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, requested pages, and the date and time of a request.

We do not currently use advertising trackers or website analytics tools. If that changes, we will update this policy and introduce any notice or consent controls required by applicable law.

3. How we use information

We use personal information only where it is relevant to:

  • receive, review and respond to enquiries;
  • prepare quotations or discuss requested products and services;
  • route an enquiry to the appropriate SSS team member;
  • respond to support, callback and security-assessment requests;
  • review careers-related messages;
  • maintain appropriate records of business correspondence;
  • protect the website, our email systems and users against spam or misuse;
  • establish, exercise or defend legal rights; and
  • meet legal, regulatory and accounting obligations.

We do not make decisions about you solely through automated processing, and we do not sell or rent contact-form information.

4. Lawful reasons for processing

Depending on the nature of your enquiry, we process personal information because:

  • you have asked us to take steps before entering into a contract;
  • it is in our legitimate interests to respond to genuine enquiries, operate our website securely and manage our business, provided those interests do not conflict with your rights;
  • processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation; or
  • you have given clear consent where consent is required.

Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before consent was withdrawn.

5. Required and optional information

Your full name, email address, enquiry category and message are required so that we can understand and respond to your request. Your phone number and company name are optional.

If you do not provide the required fields, the website cannot send your enquiry. Please do not include passwords, payment-card information, health information, government identification numbers or other sensitive personal information in the message field.

6. Who we share information with

We may disclose personal information only where reasonably necessary to:

  • SSS employees and authorised contractors who need it to handle your enquiry;
  • service providers that host, secure, maintain or support our website and email systems;
  • Resend, which processes and delivers contact-form email on our behalf;
  • Google, when you load or interact with the embedded Google Map on our contact page;
  • professional advisers, insurers, auditors or authorities where necessary to protect our rights or comply with law; and
  • another organisation involved in a genuine restructuring, merger or transfer of our business, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal safeguards.

We require service providers acting on our behalf to process information only for the agreed service and to protect it appropriately.

7. Email delivery through Resend

We use Resend, operated by Plus Five Five, Inc., to deliver messages submitted through the website to our business inbox. Resend processes information on our behalf as an email service provider. This processing may include your email address, name, message content, enquiry category, email subject, sender and recipient details, and delivery-event information.

Resend states that its primary processing operations take place in the United States and that it uses authorised subprocessors to provide its service. Resend ordinarily retains email data for 30 days on its standard plans. We do not use Resend’s marketing, email-open tracking or link-tracking features for website contact enquiries.

You can read Resend’s Privacy Policy, Data Processing Addendum and Subprocessor List.

8. International transfers

Some providers that support this website operate outside the Kingdom of Bahrain. In particular, contact-form information processed through Resend is transferred to and primarily processed in the United States. Google and our eventual hosting provider may also process technical information in other countries.

Where personal information is transferred outside Bahrain, we take steps required by applicable law to ensure an appropriate level of protection. Depending on the circumstances, these measures may include contractual safeguards, commitments from the service provider, restricted access, and consent or regulatory approval where required.

9. How long we keep information

We retain information only for as long as it is reasonably needed:

  • general contact enquiries are normally retained for up to 24 months after our last meaningful communication;
  • careers-related enquiries are normally retained for up to 12 months unless a longer period is agreed or legally required;
  • if an enquiry results in a customer, supplier or contractual relationship, related records may be kept for the duration of that relationship and for any additional period required for accounting, legal claims or regulatory obligations;
  • technical and security logs are kept only for the period reasonably needed for security, troubleshooting and service operation; and
  • Resend ordinarily retains email data for 30 days on its standard plans, subject to its own legal and security obligations.

When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete, anonymise or securely dispose of it.

10. How we protect information

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure. These measures include limiting access to personnel who need the information, protecting accounts and credentials, using encrypted connections, applying server-side form controls, and selecting service providers with relevant security commitments.

No website, internet transmission or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Please avoid submitting confidential or sensitive information that is not necessary for your enquiry.

11. Your rights

Subject to the Bahrain Personal Data Protection Law and any applicable limitations, you may have the right to:

  • ask whether we process personal information about you;
  • request access to information we hold about you;
  • request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • request that unlawful information be blocked, erased or no longer processed;
  • object to processing that may cause unwarranted material or moral harm;
  • object to direct marketing free of charge; and
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

To exercise a right, email info@salahuddinss.com.bh. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to confirm your identity and locate the relevant records. You may also lodge a complaint with Bahrain’s Personal Data Protection Authority.

12. Cookies and third-party services

SSS does not currently use advertising cookies or website analytics cookies. Our hosting provider may use strictly necessary technologies or server logs to deliver and secure the website.

The contact page includes an embedded Google Map. When the map loads, your browser connects directly to Google. Google may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser and device information, the page URL and interactions with the map, and may use cookies or similar technologies according to the Google Privacy Policy.

You can manage or block cookies through your browser settings, although blocking certain technologies may affect third-party features such as the map.

13. Children’s information

This website provides business-to-business information and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly request personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, please contact us so that we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our website, service providers or legal obligations change. The revised version will be published on this page and identified by a new “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be highlighted elsewhere on the website where appropriate.
